Ben was 16 and had been innocently celebrating the end of his GCSEs when he was attacked and murdered; today his name is a symbol across the UK of the fight against knife crime.
Our mission is to use the true and powerful story of Ben Kinsella to campaign against knife crime and educate young people about the consequences of choices, so they stay safe and away from crime. We are here to educate young people; to provide advice, support and guidance with the aim of raising self esteem so that young people can resist peer pressure and make positive life choices.
Based in Finsbury Library in Islington, the Ben Kinsella Exhibition is designed to help young people appreciate and understand the lasting damage that knife crime can have on them and those around them. Over 10,000 young people have visited the exhibition since 2012 with the vast majority of those visiting pledging never to carry a knife when they leave.
