The Home Secretary meets Brooke and George Kinsella
10 years after the tragic murder of Ben Kinsella, the Home Secretary, Sajid Javid met with George and Brooke Kinsella MBE to thank them for the tireless endeavours to combat knife crime. The Home Secretary described his visit to the Trust's exhibition as "deeply moving". He went to say that the Ben's family were "an inspiration, and their work showed the importance of engaging young people early".
Patrick Green the Trust CEO said "We were really pleased to welcome the Home Secretary to Ben's Exhibition. His visit today is fitting recognition of the work done by the Kinsella family over the last 10 years to tackle knife crime. This visit also shows the importance that is now being placed on prevention and early intervention programmes in the fight to reduce violence and knife crime"
